Anita Barone
Anita Barone, a stage actor with a variety of abilities, mainly related to sitcoms on TV and got the most coveted chance to shine as the wife of Jeff Foxworthy on ABC's "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" which aired for one season in 1995 until 1996. Barone's initial stage performance began at age five, in Detroit in the city to which her family moved after moving away from St Louis. She was 23 when Barone was already in over 50 productions. A majority of them were performed in the regional and university theatres. She played Juliet as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Helen Keller in an adaptation of "Monday after the Miracle" as well as the character as Agnes the teen, tortured character in "Agnes of God." Her first screen appearance came in the form of a small part in "The Roseary Murders" as well as a small role in "Ricochet" in 1996, as well as the lead in indie romantic comedy "Just Friends" that was released in the year 1996. Her first Hollywood job of note was as a participant in the company that owns "Carol and Company" (NBC from 1990 to 1991) which was a disastrous plan of Carol Burnett to revive the variety show/comedy program. Barone made an appearance as a character in "Wounded Heart", a 1995 USA Network film. Her return to sitcoms on the weekly air as a co-star on "Daddio", NBC 2000, in which she co-starred with Michael Chiklis.
